Sorry for the inconvenience, says the Delhi Congress’ website. After being denied a ticket, the administrator of the site has left the party in a huff and taken the site with him.
Two sites, dpcc.co.in and congresssandesh.com, have been down since Monday. A message on the sites claim they were “designed, developed and maintained by Sanjey Puri since 2001”. And since he has resigned his membership of the Congress, his services have been withdrawn.
A former councillor, Mr. Puri, was hoping for a ticket from Janakpuri Assembly constituency, but the Congress instead fielded Suresh Kumar, the son-in-law of BJP candidate Jagdish Mukhi.
Meanwhile, Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh put out a statement on Wednesday to remind voters that the party was still active online on delhipcc.in.
